FLINT TWP. — An article in the June 14 edition about road repairs on Court Street should have said that last year’s contracted work was postponed until this year because the repair company – Ace-Saginaw Paving Company – had a full schedule for 2017, by the time paperwork was completed. C-A district closed for the holiday
FLINT TWP. — The Carman-Ainsworth school district will be closed July 2 – July 6. This means there will be no staff or office personnel in the buildings. If you need to contact someone in one of the administrative offices, you can do so on Monday, July 9. — R.S.
Summer meals provided
FLINT TWP. — When school lets out for summer, Meet Up and Eat Up, a free summer meal program will begin. Meals are available Monday through Friday for children 18 and younger. C-A still accepting Schools of Choice applications
FLINT TWP. — Carman-Ainsworth Schools is accepting Schools of Choice applications for the second semester of the 2018-2019 school year. There are limited openings at all grade levels at Carman- Ainsworth — Baker Career Academy, C-A High School and C-A Middle School. The application period for grades K-5 ended June 13.
