2018 HAP Crim Festival of Races

FLINT — The Crim Fitness Foundation and Crim Races and Events proudy present Genesee County’s premier annual race event, the Crim, Aug. 25 beginning at 7 a.m. in downtown Flint. The festival includes a 10- Mile Run/ Walk, 5-Mile Run/Walk, 5k Run/ Family Walk, Michigan Mile Run/ Walk (Friday 8/24/2018) and the kids’ favorite, the Teddy Bear Trot. Black History Month nominees sought

FLINT — The Genesee District Library is accepting nominations for individuals and organizations to be honored at the annual Black History Month Brunch. Movies under the stars

FLINT — Movies Under the Stars from Communities First, Inc. ends with a final showing of Moana, August 24 at Flint City Hall, back lawn.

This features a pre-party starting at 7:30 p.m. including lawn games, dancing and music and may include bounce houses, special guests and contests. Each guest will receive a bag of popcorn, a drink and candy to enjoy during the movie. The experience is free, however donations are encouraged. — P.S.
