Holy Spirit Encounter at Glad Tidings

FLINT TWP. — The Glad Tidings Tabernacle, 4475 S. Linden Rd., will hold a Holy Spirit Encounter, Sept. 23-25, led by Pastor Dr. Ron Phillips from Abbas House in Hixson, TN.

The Four Encounters with the Holy Spirit will take place: Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. Kids Encounter for kids under 12 going on at each service.

An offering will be also be received during each service.

Euchre tournament at St. George

FLINT TWP. — A Euchre Tournament will be held Sept. 14 at the St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Rd., with registration at 6:30 p.m. and play beginning at 7 p.m.

GCMA to meet Sept. 19

FLINT — A Public Hearing will be held Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Willard P. Harris Auditorium, third floor, Genesee County Administration Building, 1101 Beach Street, Flint, Michigan, 48502, as part of the Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance meeting.

This Public Hearing is an opportunity for the community to review and comment on the following items: a proposed amendment to the FY 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP lists federally funded transportation projects eligible for funding under Title 23 as amended, or Federal Transit Act funds. This hearing complies with the intent of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act. This public notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comment on the TIP is being used to satisfy the public input requirements of the Section 5307 transit Program of Projects.

The proposed amendment is available for public review and comment at the address below, and here on our website. Call for office hours. Comments may be made in person or by mail, phone, fax or e-mail. The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission will furnish reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities upon request.
