Tax help for seniors at the Senior Center
FLINT TWP. — Tax help for senior citizens will return to the Flint Township Senior Center, 2071 S Graham Rd., just in the time for the 2018 tax season. Paws to Read
FLUSHING — The Flushing Area Library will hold a “Paws to Read” program on Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. Join Miss Katie and her certified therapy dog, Dasher. This session gives participants the chance to practice reading to Dasher or listen to Miss Katie read stories while you pet the dog. — B.G.

FLUSHING — Flushing Christian Outreach Center is collecting paper grocery bags throughout the month of January. GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc Heritage Museum, 203 E. Grand Blanc Road will host a public program Jan. 28. Featuring Ralph Rossell, Flushing funeral director and author, who will present on his recent book “The Life of Death: The Bare bones of Undertaking.” From being in the business for 45 years, Mr. Rossell has seen every situation, from the hilarious to the tragic- part and parcel of being a funeral director in a small town.
