FLINT — Free introductory Tai Chi class at McLaren Hospitality House, G-3170 Beecher Rd. Open to the public, this free intro class will be held Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m. Regular classes will begin on Feb. 7 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Classes are taught by a certified Tai Chi instructor. Special Olympics Polar Plunge
FENTON — The annual Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympic athletes is upon us again. The fundraising event takes pledges from the public and promises of fundraisers to make the plunge into Lake Fenton in the very coldest part of the year. Murder Mystery Dinner
MT. MORRIS — The Genesee County Agricultural Society presents a Murder Mystery Dinner, Feb. 8, “Murder in The French Quarter”. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner served at 6:30 p.m. at the Mount Morris Masonic Lodge, 810 North Street. Arrive early to catch the suspects and win prizes! Bar, silent auction, semi-casual attire. A Furr-iffic fundraiser
FLINT — Los Gatos Foster Animals Cat Rescue will host their fifth annual bowling fundraiser event Feb. 10 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.at B’s Bowling Center, 750 S. Center Road. If you want to have fun while helping our rescue kitties, then join us for this furr-iffic fundraiser. $20 gets you two games with shoe rental and pizza with pop (per lane).
