UM-Flint Ice Rink Open Skate

FLINT — The University of Michigan-Flint hosts an open ice skate Feb. 1 (and multiple other dates/ times) at 5 p.m. at the downtown rink located at 303 E. Kearsley St. (401 Mill St. for mapping). Murder Mystery Dinner

MT. MORRIS — The Genesee County Agricultural Society presents a Murder Mystery Dinner, Feb. 8, “Murder in The French Quarter”. FLINT — Los Gatos Foster Animals Cat Rescue will host their fifth annual bowling fundraiser event Feb. 10 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.at B’s Bowling Center, 750 S. Center Road. If you want to have fun while helping our rescue kitties, then join us for this furr-iffic fundraiser. $20 gets you two games with shoe rental and pizza with pop (per lane). Dual seminar features Randy Conat, dirigibles

FLINT — The Mott Community College (MCC) Lifelong Learning office announces the 2018-19 Friday Applewood Lecture Series. The next program in the line-up is on Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. and features Randy Conat, who spent many years in a career in television news journalism with ABC Channel 12 since 1992 and life story and Michael Heberling, PHD., and retired Colonel, U.S. Air Force, will present on the story of the USS Akron and the USS Macon, two dirigibles commissioned by the U.S. Navy in the early 1930’s. This series especially designed for senior citizens, but is open to everyone runs through May.
