Stefan Stolarchuk showcases the unique versatility of the bass trombone

FLINT — A rare performance of a bass trombone in a solo performance setting will take place Friday, March 8, at 7 p.m. at the Flint Institute of Music’s MacArthur Recital Hall. The free concert will feature works by Pascal, Pederson, Brahms, Ewazen and Peeters; culminating in an exhilarating trombone quartet. Dual seminar features land bank director

FLINT — The Mott Community College (MCC) Lifelong Learning office announces the 2018-19 Friday Applewood Lecture Series. The next program in the line-up is on Michelle Wildman, who has been the Executive Director of the Genesee County Landbank since November, 2016 and will present an update on the landbank, Friday, March 15, 2019, at 10 a.m. This series especially designed for senior citizens, but is open to everyone runs through May.
