Space Art Workshop

Bike Night at Vehicle City Harley-Davidson

FLINT TWP. — The next Flint Township DDA’s Food Truck Festival takes place July 26 during Bike Nights at Vehicle City Harley- Davidson, 2400 Austin Parkway.

The trucks will be open from 4-9 p.m. offering a variety of food, including Korean tacos, shrimp tacos, Frankenmuth chicken, reuben sandwiches, buttered noodles, brats and sauerkraut, pot pies, bread pudding, funnel cake, Black Forest cherry cake, pretzels, cheese puffs, doughnuts, ice cream and apple cider.

Bike Nights are sponsored by Vehicle City Harley Davidson every other Friday night. Motorcycles of all kinds are on display, and prizes are awarded for the top three bikes overall in the Hot Bike Contest. Live bands play from 6-9 p.m. each date.

Food trucks also will be at Bike Nights on Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 for Bike to the Bricks. The food trucks will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. on each date.

Genesee Valley Center hosting weekly concert

FLINT TWP. — The Genesee Valley Center’s Summer Concert Series is back! Join the fun in the Outdoor Village area (between Bar Louie and Barnes & Noble) every Thursday night in June, July and August.

Next week the party starts at 6:30 p.m. on July 11 with Mama Sol, the band starts at 7 p.m. and then DJ Psycho again when the live band is finished.

Other concert dates include: July 18 is Maurice Davis, July 25 is Geneva Tone, Aug. 1 is An Evening of Worship Music with various performers; on Aug. 8 it’s the Daniel Witherspoon Project, Aug. 15 is Katrina Storm, Aug. 22 is Ghost Note and Aug. 29 is Have a Cigar.

There is no concert July 4.

Limited free seating is available. Arrive early for a seat or bring a bag chair just in case. — G.G.
