Annual Pig Roast at the CA-Senior Center Oct. 19

FLINT TWP. — The Flint Township Carman- Ainsworth Senior Center, 2071 S. Graham Road, will holds its eighth annual pig roast Oct. 19 from noon to 2 p.m. The menu includes a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, baked beans and a dessert. Tricks for Treats

FLUSHING — The 13th Annual Tricks for Treats will be held at Key-Lore Woof Woods Dog Park on Oct. 12. This fun event for dogs and dog owners will feature a Treat Trail from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and a Costume Contest at 2 p.m. Registration starts at noon. Bathroom vandalized

SWARTZ CREEK — One bathroom at Abrams Park will be closed until spring because of vandalism. Department of Public Services Director Tom Svrcek said the restroom was damaged several times and the last incident left it in a considerable mess. “We have to do a lot of plumbing work,” said Svrcek. — L.R.
