Free Day at the Flint Children’s Museum!

FLINT — The Flint Children’s Museum,1602 University Avenue, will be free to all visitors Oct. 27 from 12-5 p.m., sponsored by Greater Flint Arts Council’s Share Arts Genesee Grant Program made possible by the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage funds. This month is a very special partnership with the University of Michigan’s Pop-Up School! In conjunction with our Discovery Zone “What Happens at Night?”, everyone will have a chance to make an owl using a variety of materials and their own creativity. Queen of Kings 5th Annual All Male Beauty Pageant

FLINT — The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 1939 Howard Ave., hosts their annual All Male Beauty Pageant on Oct. 26 from 7–10 p.m. Enjoy an evening of entertainment when our finest male contestants (with celebrity status in the community) compete in a comedy beauty pageant complete with Swimsuit, Talent, Interview, and Evening Gown! This is a fundraiser for the food bank and the Windmill Woman’s Circle will crown the winner for 2019. Cost: $10 (provides 60 meals to the less fortunate). Reverse Trick-or-Treating

GRAND BLANC — The Pixel and Luna Resource Network and Spud Software host a Reverse Trick or Treating on Oct. 26 from 1–4 p.m. at Spud Software, Spud Software, 9478 S. Saginaw Rd. This family-friendly event features face-painting, giveaways, crafts and coloring, door prizes, FREE cider and donuts, adoptable animals, shopping with 3 Sons Trading Post, information from MIAFS – Grand Blanc II and more. Rocky Horror Picture Show performances

FLINT — The Satanic Mechanics Union (SMU) presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (two shows) at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint, 2474 S. Ballenger Hwy. The SMU is bringing you two shows to thrill, chill and fulfill you. There will Prop bags for sale, Shadow Cast Performance, cash bar only available to midnight.
