Holiday lights fundraiser

FLUSHING — Flushing City Parks and Recreation is accepting donations for its Holiday Lights Trail Walk along the Riverview Trail, which will be held during the Flushing Candlewalk on Dec. 5 and 6. Items to donate include working Christmas lights, inflatables, extension cords etc. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at Starline Kitchen and Bath Gallery on 6189 W. Flushing Masonic Lodge to host dinner for veterans

FLUSHING — The Flushing Masonic Lodge will be hosting a dinner with entertainment to honor their members who are veterans on Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. The dinner will be held at the Masonic Lodge at 349 S. Grand Blanc Chocolate 5K

GRAND BLANC — An annual favorite, the Grand Blanc Chocolate 5K is happening Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Rd. Chocolate goodies await finishers at the third annual Grand Blanc Chocolate 5K. The race begins at the Perry Innovation Center and runs through a residential area. Craft Show

GRAND BLANC — GBHS HOSA (Future Health Professionals) is sponsoring a craft show Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.at Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Road. Holiday Art Show

FLUSHING—The Elbow Room Café in Flushing will be hosting a Holiday Art Show from Nov. 9 thru Dec. 31. FIA instructor Arla Slogor and 10 of her student artists will be displaying their works of art geared for Holiday purchases. A Wine & Pastries Opening Reception will be held to kick off the exhibition on Nov. 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., giving the public an opportunity to meet the artists and embrace the season. The Elbow Room is located on 131 E. Main St. and is owned by Bryon Rubinstein. The café is open early daily until 9 p.m. (Sun – 3 p.m.).
