Christmas Bake Sale

FLUSHING — The Flushing United Methodist Women will be hosting their annual Christmas Bake Sale during Flushing’s Candlewalk on Dec. 5 and 6. Customers can purchase yeast bread tea rings for $15, buckeye candy for $6 per bowl and cookies for $7 per tray. All products will be made from scratch by the Flushing United Methodist Women, and all profits will be used toward missions. Order today by calling Laragene at 810-659-2081 and pick up at Flushing United Methodist Church on 413 E. Main St. If you don’t order ahead, come in and buy while the goods last. GRAND BLANC — It’s that time of year again, when we replenish the depleted shelves at the FISH Food Pantry. Pick up a little extra for those in need when you do your regular shopping and drop it off in the high school parking lot (12500 Holly Rd.) Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Accepting non-perishable foods, hygiene, paper and cleaning products to help sustain FISH through the winter months. They need non-perishable food items to school parking lot: canned goods, non-powdered mac and cheese, soup, Spaghettio’s®, ravioli as well as hygiene items (2-in-1 shampoos, deodorant, etc).
