Absentee ballots for March 10 election coming in January
FLINT TWP. — Flint Township Clerk Kathy Funk announced absentee ballot applications for the March 10 presidential primary election will be mailed out Jan. 2 for anyone wishing to be added to the permanent absentee voter list or who will be out of town.
Funk also announced there will be a countywide millage proposal question for Mott Community College included in the primary election. Voters will choose between a Democrat or Republican ballot for the presidential primary and will vote on the millage on a separate ballot. — J.J.
Jingle All the Way coming December 10
FLINT TWP. — The Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents “Jingle All The Way”. The 50-piece concert band will perform a plethora of traditional Christmas selections on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. The venue is the Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, located at 1261 W. Bristol Rd. in Flint Twp.
The band is under the direction of Chris Anderson. Anderson is in his first year as conductor. Admission is free. Get into the spirit of the season Tuesday night, December 10, with selections such as, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
