Federal Financial Aid 101

FLINT TWP. — The Genesee Valley Center Library, 3141 S. Linden Rd., will host Federal Financial Aid 101 on Jan. 23 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Get help filling out the FAFSA®. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is the largest source of student financial aid in the nation. Make college or career education possible by filling out the FAFSA® to get grants, loans, and work study opportunities. Financial aid is given on a first-come, firstserved basis so the best way for parents and graduating seniors to ensure they don’t miss out is to complete the FAFSA® now. Parent and students must attend together. You will need to bring: Social Security numbers, 2018 Federal Income Tax Returns and W2s. FLUSHING — The Flushing Area Library will present Your Wild Neighbors on Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. Get to know your neighbors in this live animal program featuring animals that live in the great state of Michigan.
