Trustee complains about time of board meetings

FLINT TWP. — Trustee Frank Kasle questioned the decision to move the Flint Township Board of Trustees meetings to 6 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of the month. The matter came up at the Feb. 3 board meeting.

“It seems to me with the change in time that we’re holding board meetings, there are fewer and fewer attendees,” said Kasle. “I don’t see some of old faces here, it gets tougher for some people to get to meetings at 6 p.m.”

Kasle said he’d like to see a reconsideration of the new meeting times. The board did not take action at this time. — G.G.
