Flint Firebirds Superhero night

FLINT — The Flint Firebirds is hosting Whaley Superhero Night on March 14 at 7 p.m. at Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center, 3501 Lapeer Rd. FLINT — Hurley Medical Center hosts a Healthy Living Diabetes event March 26, from 6–8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Gateway, 5353 Gateway Centre. Hurley Diabetes Center will present new gadgets that can make life easier for people of all ages with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, such as: Insulin Pumps to stabilize glucose levels, Continuous Glucose Monitors, and Wireless glucose monitors that sync readings to your smartphone. Hurley Bariatric Center will share how bariatric surgery is often used as a tool to treat or improve blood sugar levels in individuals with diabetes.
