Outreach East to hold flower sale

DAVISON — The 23rd Annual Flower Sale hosted by Outreach East will take place May 23, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Oxford Bank, 600 N State Rd. in Davison.

There will be a variety of beautiful hanging flower baskets and gift certificates available for purchase courtesy of Davison Greenhouse. Not sure what flowers or veggies you are going to plant yet? Then purchase a gift certificates and shop Davison Greenhouse fantastic selection of flowers and vegetables at a later date.

Mom2Mom Sale at the American Legion

DAVISON TWP. — The Davison American Legion Post 267, 10309 Davison Rd., will hold a Mom2Mom Sale on May 30 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Admission is free, strollers are welcome and table rental is $20 for the first table, and $15 each additional table. Rack space is $5.

Kearsley Schools begin Kindergarten pre-registration

GENESEE TWP. — Kindergarten preregistration for the 2020-21 school year has begun for Kearsley Community Schools. Please fill out the application at to get the process started.

Once the form is complete, the school will be mailing you an enrollment packet.

Burton Rotary scholarship applications due June 19

BURTON — The Burton Rotary Club scholarship application is now available. This is a $4,000 scholarship payable up to $1,000 per year over four years.

The requirements are the successful completion of the application and interview upon selection, a 2.0 or above grade point average and an annual update at a Burton Rotary meeting. This scholarship is awarded in the month of June during the Rotary’s annual awards ceremony.

The essay is not less than 150 words that describes you, your civic and/or volunteer activities and your career/educational goals.

Applications can be emailed and are due by 5 p.m. June 12. If mailed via postal service, the must be postmarked by June 10, 2020.

Staff changes in Kearsley Community Schools

BURTON — Administrative staff changes announced Jane Fonger Lisa Oetting Doug Hibbs Kearsley Community School announced administrative staff changes for the start of the 2020-21 school year.

These changes include Jane Fonger, Armstrong Middle School Principal, taking over as district curriculum director. Her new title will be Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Grants. Lisa Oetting, Assistant Principal at Armstrong Middle School, will become Principal at Armstrong. Doug Hibbs, Weston Elementary Principal, will be Assistant Principal at Armstrong Middle School. — G.G.
