Poll moved to GMS

ATLAS TWP. — Voters in Atlas Township’s Precinct 2 will have a different voting location for the Tuesday, Aug. 4, primary.

Township Clerk Katherine Vick told the Board of Trustees that officials from The River Church, 9430 Perry Rd., have advised her that they do not wish to serve as a precinct site.

For the August primary, Precinct 2 voters will cast ballots at Goodrich Middle School, 7480 Gale Road.

Vick said she is unsure about a location for the November general election.

The school district is willing to provide space again if classes are not in session, she said.

“I’m still in a scramble to find a more permanent home for this,” Vick said. — L.R.
