Mott Community College registration opens April 2

FLINT — Registration for the 2012 Spring, Summer and Fall Semesters at Mott Community College begins April 2. Online registration at www.mcc.edu begins at midnight April 2 for students who meet the following requirements: successful completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours; a 2.0 GPA or higher; completion of all mandatory prerequisites and no outstanding debt to the college.

Kidney Cancer support group

FLINT — The Educational Kidney Cancer Support Group will meet April 18 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, 302 Kensington, off of Robert T. Longway Blvd. Julia Herzog, Program Coordinator, National Kidney Foundation of Michigan will speak on “Finding Yourself When All Seems Lost. McLaren offers smoking cessation support group

FLINT — McLaren’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is offering a free Smoking Cessation Support Group the second Monday of every month. The support group can benefit anyone who is struggling to give up those last few cigarettes but does want to quit; is smoke free but feeling vulnerable for relapse; is in the process of quitting and having trouble managing stress, or is a former smoker who is willing to share their story.

Smoking Cessation Support Group will meet the second Monday of every month, 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the McLaren Medical Education Building, G-3230 Beecher Rd. (behind Beech Hill Centre), Lower Level-Conference Room A. There is no cost.

Lost and Found Christian rock concert

GRAND BLANC — The Lost and Found Christian Rock Concert — Fundraiser for Youth Mission, will be held April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd. Sponsored by Thrivent Financial, tickets are $10 or $25 family of three or more

Lost and Found, a Christian rock duo, will be performing at Faith Lutheran Church of Grand Blanc. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a Silent Auction and Concession stand.
