A story in the June 17 edition of the Davison Index regarding the Davison Township Board of Trustees’ deadlocked attempt at appointing a new clerk should have said Travis Howell is a Republican who lost his bid to be clerk last year in the August primary when he was defeated by Mary Miller by just 11 votes. DAVISON TWP. — On Saturday, June 26, Davison Farmers Market will host an all-day Food Truck Rally and Flea Market Flip-Day. Living Grace to hold July 4 celebration

Davison First Baptist Church water fun day

City golf outing coming Aug. 20
DAVISON — The City of Davison will hold its annual golf outing Aug. 20 at Sugarbush Golf Course, 1 Sugarbush Dr., in Davison Township. The format is a four-person scramble with a “shotgun start” at 9 a.m.
The cost for each golfer is $60. Lunch will be provided “at the turn” and each golfer will receive one drink ticket.
Contact city hall regarding a registration form which needs to be completed and returned to the city offices no later than Aug. 6. A full team is not required to register, as individuals or couples will be combined to fill teams where needed.
The outing also provides the opportunity for individual or corporate hole sponsorships at $50 each. If you wish to sponsor a hole or know of an interested corporate sponsor, please fill out the attached sponsorship form. For more information contact City Hall.

Creekwood Dental to hold food distribution June 26
BURTON — Creekwood Dental will hold a mobile food pantry June 26, from 1-3 p.m. for anyone who needs food. The event will be held in the Creekwood Dental Parking lot, 1080 Creekwood Trail, in Burton.
This is for anyone who needs food. If you are someone you know needs food, stop by. The Mobile Food Pantry is on the fourth Saturday of each month.
