Trunk or Treat at Richfield United Methodist Church

RICHFIELD TWP. — The Richfield United Methodist Church Annual Trunk or Treat will be held Oct. 16 from 5-6 p.m. at the church, 10090 Coldwater Rd.

Trunk or Treat coming to the Hub, Oct. 20

DAVISON TWP. — The Hub, 8424 Davison Rd., located in the former Knights of Columbus hall, will hold a Trunk or Treat for the community Oct. 20 from 6-8 p.m.

Join Davison Missionary Church for a Trunk or Treat: Heroes vs. Villains. There will be food, candy, hayride, karaoke, prizes, inflatables, and free pumpkins until gone.

Book sale at St. John’s, Oct. 21-23

DAVISON — Book lovers and those who just like to read will have a chance to buy from more than 2,000 plus titles of selections of great books at a low price. St. John the Evangelist will hold a book sale Oct. 21-23 in the yellow barn on the northwest side of the St. John Family Center, 505N. Dayton St.

Genres include autobiographies, biographies, children’s books, cooking/ healthy body, general fiction, home maintenance, hunting/sports/automobiles, murder/mystery, religious/spiritual, romance, Western and others.

They will also have “bonus items” for sale for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The sale will take place Oct. 21-22 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Oct. 23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — G.G.

Witch’s Night of Spirits

DAVISON TWP. — On Oct. 23 from 7-10 p.m. the First Metaphysical Church, 8267 E. Atherton Rd., will hold a Witch’s Night of Spirits.

Tickets include a buffet, assorted beverages, door prises, tarot bingo, a cackling contest and one tea leaf, tarot or rune reading. Additional readings for $10 each. Seating is limited.

Bewitching attire is encouraged. Men and women are welcome, but please do not bring children.

Rep. Martin announces October office hours

DAVISON — State Rep. David Martin has announced his October office hours will be held in Davison Township and Clio.

Martin will be available Friday, Oct. 22, at the following times and locations:

1 to 2:30 p.m. at Davison Township Hall, 1280 N. Irish Road in Davison.

5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Clio Area Senior Center, 2136 W. Vienna Road in Clio.

Martin represents Michigan’s 48th District, which includes the communities of Clio, Davison, Montrose and Otisville, as well as the townships of Davison, Forest, Genesee, Montrose, Richfield, Thetford and Vienna.

Trinity Lutheran to hold Trunk or Treat, Oct. 28
