Getting it right
FLUSHING — In last week’s story “Residents voice frustration with marijuana stench in neighborhood,” we should have mentioned that many residents in the area surrounding Circle Drive off McKinley Road have voiced concerns about an alleged marijuana grow operation in their neighborhood. In the story, we mentioned that Flushing couple Al and Sue Brisbane informed the council about noxious marijuana odors coming from a residence in their neighborhood. However, they were not the only residents who brought the issue to council at the meeting. Flushing officials also read a letter into record from neighbor Ralph Rossell, who requested for the city to investigate the alleged marijuana grow operation. Other residents in the neighborhood were also in attendance to show their support for a city investigation into the matter but did not speak during public comment. — B.G.
