CA’s new superintendent has a blog
FLINT TWP. — With back-to-school preparations underway, Carman-Ainsworth’s new superintendent Steve Tunnicliff is sharing a few basic needs in his new blog posted on the district’s website.
“The most important thing that we can do for our children is to build an excitement for going back to school and for learning in general,” Tunnicliff wrote.
“Second, we as parents need to ensure that our children get to school each day, on-time and ready to learn. Beyond these basics, we need to realize that we can (and will) make a difference if we (as parents) work together with school personnel. Again, this can be as simple as providing updated contact information and maintaining regular communication through handwritten notes, phone calls, or e-mail. Showing our children that we are interested, involved, and supportive of their education is paramount to a successful school year.”
