Church to host 10th annual Military Mass

The mass will be celebrated this year at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 at St. Pius X, 3139 Hogarth Ave.

That date also is the birthday of the Marine Corp. and a day before the observance of Veteran’s Day, according to a press release.

A noted highlight of the mass are the moments when families come forward to light a candle during the “Reading of the Names.” The public is invited to attend. — R.S.
