GAC presents Advanced Care Planning talk
GRAND BLANC — Genesys Athletic Club, as part of its Lunch and Learn with Friends series for seniors, presents a talk on advanced care planning, Nov. 21 at noon.
Advanced care planning is making decisions about the care you would want to receive if you were unable to speak for yourself. No one can predict when a sudden accident or illness may occur that would leave you unable to make your own health care decisions – decisions about end-of-life care that are deeply personal and based on an individual’s values and beliefs.
Kathy Wilks, RN with Genesys Palliative Care; and Candace Jones, vice president of Physician Services with Genesys PHO; are the presenters.
Cost of the Lunch and Learn with Friends is $15 and includes lunch. Genesys Athletic Club (GAC) members pay only $6.
To sign up, call Genesys Athletic Club at 810-606-7509.
Lunch and Learn with Friends is part of GAC Gold, a program especially designed for the senior population to learn more about their health and have some fun.
For information on joining this program, call 810-606-7509. GAC Gold also sponsors outings. Next one is to Meadowbrook Hall on Dec. 7.
