IMA Winter Bridal Show looking for vendors

BURTON — The IMA’s Winter Bridal Show will unveil many of these hot new trends with the area’s top wedding professionals on Jan. 4 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at IMA Brookwood Banquet Center, 6045 Davison Rd.

Brides and their friends and family can experience a great selection of merchants available for their special day including Photographers, DJ’s, Photo Booths, Uplighting, Wedding Gowns, Men’s Formalwear, Decorators, Wedding Cakes, Dry Cleaning/Wedding Gown Preservationist, Event Planners, Linen, Chair Covers and more.

The show will feature a “Bridal Salon” sponsored by Expressions In Silk Bridal where brides can actually try on gowns and talk to wedding gown specialist in a separate salon area.

C&L Ward announces employee promotions

DAVISON TWP. — C&L Ward has announced the promotions of two employees into management positions.

Chad Prieur has been promoted within the marketing department to the company’s Canvassing and Event Manager. Chad has been with C&L Ward since May of this year as our Customer Marketing Specialist and has had several years of experience with lead generation and canvassing from Tru Green. Chad will be responsible for managing the community marketing team in their growing event and canvassing initiatives to achieve the departmental goals in these areas. He will also be responsible for scheduling events and canvassing, adhering to budgets and inventory of products displays, among other things.

“We are excited to have Chad lead the event and canvassing efforts of the company,” stated Pat Ward, President of C & L Ward. “His knowledge and experience will be a huge asset to us as we continue to grow and expand exterior lead generating event and neighborhood canvassing programs.”

Also promoted within the company is Jean Hayes. Jean has accepted the position of Appointment Services Manager. Jean brings nearly 4-years of successful experience as both a Project Coordinator and Appointment Coordinator within the company. In her new role, Jean and her team will have overall responsibility for all inbound/outbound scheduling and confirmation communications. This includes scheduling in home sales appointments, project manager home visits and dispatching service techs on field service requests. In addition, she will be accountable for the training & development of all showroom appointment coordinators and the overall appearance of company showrooms.

“During her four years with C&L Ward, Jean has demonstrated great communication, organizational skills and willingness to accept new challenges. She has a lot of energy and knowledge that will help lead the internal team to generate more appointments for our top notch, professional sales staff,” said Ward. “Her expertise in lead generation and leadership qualities have not gone unnoticed and excited for her to lead our internal lead generation efforts.” — G.G.
