CLIO — Consumers Energy is offering a $2,500 reward to the first person who provides information leading to the positive identification of the person driving a red pickup truck towing a hydraulic plow that snagged a power line and broke five poles and other equipment near Clio Thursday.

A newer red full size pickup truck heading east, with oversized tires and chrome rims towing an older hydraulic plow, struck an overhead power line causing extensive damage to power lines and breaking five power poles. The driver, believed to be a white male, fled the scene of the incident. The damage left about 200 residences without electrical service.
