Stickler earns Professional Surveyors License

FLINT — ROWE Professional Services Company employee Guy A. Stickler, PS, recently earned his professional surveyors license.

Stickler is an assistant project surveyor in ROWE’s Mt. Pleasant office, where he performs topographic, boundary, right-ofway, and control surveys for private clients and government organizations. He received B.S. in surveying engineering from Ferris State University. Stickler, a Millbrook Township resident, is a two-year ROWE employee.

ROWE Professional Services Company’s headquarters is in Flint; additional offices are located in Lapeer, Mt. Pleasant, Farmington Hills, Grayling, and the tri-cities area in MI, and Myrtle Beach, SC.

“Starting a Business” Workshop in Flint

FLINT – A free workshop on “Starting a Business” will be presented at Kettering University in Flint on May 22, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

“Starting a Business” is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. This introductory workshop covers the process of starting and operating a business, evaluating market potential for products/services, costs and financing options, plus business planning.

The seminar is presented by the I-69 Trade Corridor Region of the Michigan Small Business Development Center (MI-SBDC) located at Kettering University. The regional office is part of a statewide organization funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U. S. Small Business Administration, providing no cost counseling, training, information-based planning assistance, and resources for any new ventures, existing and growing businesses, and innovative technology ventures.
