In brief

Check out the “New Income Palooza” Job Fair

GENESEE COUNTY — “New Income Palooza” a non-traditional Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8 at the Genesys Banquet Center in Grand Blanc Township.

The event addresses the limited opportunities for displaced, underemployed, overqualified and age discriminated workers. Hourly wages remain low due to high unemployment and opportunities for financial success are limited, according to a press release from

Eclectic Sales & Creative Marketing, which created this event to motivate people seeking a path to business success.

“New Income Palooza” will showcase thirty business opportunities in one room for one day. Anyone interested in building a business should be at this event to interview the presenters. No resume is needed, just an open mind and positive attitude.

Businesses were carefully selected to provide opportunity seekers with a wide variety of business types. Both men and women, young and old will find a suitable business match.

Each of the thirty presenters is looking to coach new business owners and provide a proven success model to follow.

Neighborhood Shopping Guide, Classic Fox Rock Authority 103.9, AsSeenInMichigan.com and Gerald R. Edwards Insurance are sponsoring the event.
