FIA and Applebee’s present 7th Beer Tasting Event

FLINT — Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar presents the 7th Annual Beer Tasting Event — Art on Tap — at the Flint Institute of Arts on Sept. 13, from 4–8 p.m.

The FIA is pleased to have Applebee’s as its Signature Sponsor again. Their commitment and generous contribution to Art on Tap continues to aide in the tremendous success of this event.

The event will take place in FIA’s South parking lot under a large tent and will exclusively feature Michigan craft beers. In recent years, Michigan has been ascending the ranks in craft beer production in the U.S., ranking 5th in 2013 (Brewers Association). Beer lovers, both connoisseurs and novices, won’t want to miss this fun-filled evening sampling Michigan’s best brews and supporting the award-winning Flint Institute of Arts.

Each guest will receive five (5) tasting tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. Advance reservations are $30 per person and $35 per person at the door. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased for $1 each. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

For no additional cost, enjoy delicious farm-to-table Michigan-themed beer cuisine. Throughout the evening, guests will be entertained with music and much more!

The FIA continues its successful partnership with John P. O’Sullivan Distributing, Inc. and Fabiano Brothers, Inc. All proceeds from the event benefit programming and exhibitions at the FIA. Close to 500 guests attended last year’s event. The FIA looks forward to another stellar year!

On Sept. 13, “hop” on over to the FIA and “tap” into the fine art of Michigan brews!

The Flint Institute of Arts is located just two blocks off I-475 in the Flint Cultural Center between the University of Michigan-Flint and Mott Community College.
