Suspects sought

FLINT TWP. — The Flint Township Police Department is seeking public help in identifying the perpetrators of two sexual assault and abductions that occurred on June 27 and July 27, 2011 in the area of Corunna Road.

The victims described the suspects as follows. Suspect 1 is in his mid-20s, about 6-feet-one inch tall, muscular, short dirty blonde hair, with a thin goatee, possibly side burns down to the bottom of his jaw. He also has a pierced tongue & pierced chin and a gauge in his ear (unknown which ear) and a tribal like tattoo on his left chest.

Suspect 2 is also in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-ten, with a chunky build, short curly blonde hair in possibly an Afro style, with facial hair between his lower lip and chin. He also has a tattoo on his right hand.

Suspect 3, also believed to be in his mid-20s, is about 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 with a thin build, about 180-210 pounds, short brown hair with a goatee. He has a tattoo of blue dice on his left outside calf, tattoo of a band or writing around his left bicep and a pierced tongue.

Suspect 4, is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, 6-foot to 6-foot-one inches tall, with a muscular build and dark hair. Anyone with information on the above suspects or crimes is urged to contact the Flint Township Police Dept., Detectives James Santa or Frank Hartner at 810-600-3250. FLINT TWP. — The Genesee County Road Commission announced last week that Graham Road at the railroad bridge just south of Corunna Road will be closed to through traffic starting Aug. 3- 24. The purpose is to clean and paint the railroad bridge. No detour route will be posted. — R.S. MDOT issues traffic alert

FLINT TWP. — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has issued the following traffic alert: Northbound I-75 has two lanes open from I-69 to I-475 (north interchange) during the day and at least one lane open between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily on Sat.- Thurs. Southbound I-75 has two lanes open from I-475 (north interchange) to I- 69 during the day and at least one lane open between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Mon.-Sat. Expect traffic shifts and watch for traffic detours as work progresses. Message boards are in place to alert motorists about upcoming work. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes. Work is expected to be completed by late August. — R.S.
