Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Michigan real estate exceeds $1 billion

GRAND BLANC — For the second time in the company’s history, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate has reached a historic level of attaining $1 billion in annual closed real estate sales.

“We did it again! This winter was hard on the real estate industry—we weren’t sure we would attain the levels we saw in 2013,” explained Steve Fase, Broker Owner and CEO. “But when the snow thawed, our agents took off in Grand Blanc and around the state. We have accomplished and even surpassed our previous record sales year.”

“This has been a groundbreaking year, but a tough year as well. Making the bold move to represent a new Warren Buffet brand, and then to have our agents reach and surpass $1 billion in sales for the second consecutive year, I couldn’t be more proud of their hard work,” Fase said. “But throughout this journey, our agents have been supporting our beloved Regional Manager Mike Doherty, who fought a brave battle with brain cancer. Our entire company has come together, and all of the work of our Eastern Michigan agents was done in Mike’s honor. This is truly a testament to his leadership and positive impact on those around him.” Losing Mike last week, just as the company officially passed the $1 billion threshold was a fitting event to honor his influence and memory.
