Beth Israel holiday bazaar, bake sale coming soon

Get ready for the 7th Annual Winterfest at CAMS
FLINT TWP. — Men @Work will host their 7th annual Winterfest celebration of the season of giving from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 in the Carman-Ainsworth Middle School cafeteria. Admission is a non-perishable food item, unwrapped toy, gently used coat or a monetary donation. Proceeds will support the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, the Salvation Army, the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots and the Old Newsboys. Each child under 11 will receive a gift and get to take a photo with Santa Claus. — R.S.
C-A seeks help with Toy Give Away
FLINT TWP. — Donations and volunteers are needed for a Toy Give Away being coordinated by Carman-Ainsworth Schools. They are collecting new or gently used toys, books, games, sporting equipment, movies, CD’s, electronics, and coats/snow pants for children from newborn to high school age. Donation boxes will be available at all buildings through December 1st. The toys will be given away at The Learning Community, 1181 Scottwood Ave, on Thursday, December 4th from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. for Bendle and C-A Families.
