Publicom wins four national advertising awards
EAST LANSING — Publicom Inc., a full-service marketing communications firm, has won four national creative awards in the 12th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) competition, the most of any agency in Michigan. The winning entries were created for McLaren Flint, McLaren Lapeer Region and McLaren Port Huron.
“We don’t develop campaigns to win awards, but it’s always a nice affirmation when our work does get recognized,” said Lisa O’Connor, president of Publicom. “With Publicom’s specialty in service industry marketing, we are particularly honored by these four national SIAA awards.”
The advertising materials recognized by SIAA are:
McLaren Flint, “Leaders at Heart” newspaper series
McLaren Flint, “No More” radio advertising
McLaren Lapeer Region, “Expect More” total advertising campaign
McLaren Port Huron, “Still Local” newspaper single
Publicom’s work was up against more than 1,500 entries in this year’s competition. A national panel of judges selected winning entries for eight groups and 26 categories consisting of traditional, digital or total campaign work. Entries were scored based on execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall break through advertising content.
