Church hosting healing conference
FLINT — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 711 S. Saginaw St. downtown Flint, is hosting a Healing Conference on May 15 –May 17, featuring, The Reverend Dr. Jack and Anna Marie Sheffield. They have both experienced a life changing rebirth in 1973 and together have served in ministry for over 39 years, and continue to witness many healings and miracles of God’s grace and power in a variety of forms and manifestations. Jack is the director of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician. It is also interdenominational.

It resumes at 8 a.m. with registration Sat., includes lunch and supper and ends in the evening with Communion. Kidney Cancer support group to meet
FLINT — The Kidney Cancer Support Group of Michigan will meet May 13 at 1:30 p.m.at Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute.
The speaker will be Marsh Schmit, RN. She is Breast Health Navigator for the support group at Hurley Medical Center. “All About Breast Cancer” is the topic. It is open to the general public

Big Brother Big Sisters to hold Flower Fundraiser
FLINT — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint is participating with Knickerbocker Farm Market & Greenhouse of Mount Morris to offer a Spring Flower Fundraiser. All proceeds from this sale will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring services provided to children and families throughout Genesee County.
This year we are pleased to offer new products bound to delight any garden enthusiast. The Mixed Garden Flat features a variety of seedlings, creating a hearty and beautiful vegetable garden that will include a wide range of tomatoes, peppers, melons, cabbage and much more. Customers can choose a mix of 12 varieties per flat.
