West Flint Church of Nazarene presents VBS

FLINT TWP. — Triumph Sports Vacation Bible School will be held from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, August 15 on the grounds of West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Road. Triumph Sports is a Christ- Centered sports camp that uses sports as a fun means to teach Scripture. It is a one-day event for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Parents are invited to stay for an open house; tour the church including the Chapel, Family Life center and the newly renovated WFN Kids Club House and Nursery wing. FLINT TWP. — Carman-Ainsworth has posted 3 job openings for Kids Connection Supervisors at Randels, Dye and Dillon elementary schools. Kids Connection is a before- and after school child care program for elementary children, age 3 and up, during the school year and throughout the summer. Heart screenings scheduled

FLINT TWP. — Genesys Heart Institute Physician Group (GHIPG) physicians will conduct free student heart screenings for students age 12 to 19 on August 20 and August 25 in Suite 3452 of the hospital from 4:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m.

Register online at www.Genesys.org/ StudentHeartScreenings .The screenings help identify any pre-existing heart conditions that could increase a student’s risk of complications during vigorous physical activity, especially competitive athletes.
