Holiday bazaar, bake sale at Congregation Beth El

Kidney Cancer Support group to meet Nov. 18

GDL, Flint Handmade to host Book Lover’s Craft Fair

FLINT — The Genesee District Library and Flint Handmade will host the 2nd Annual Book Lovers’ Craft Fair at the Grand Blanc-McFarlen Library on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

“Shoppers will be delighted to find a dozen local artisans with an assortment of modern handmade goods,” said Crystal Pepperdine, Executive Director of Flint Handmade. “This fair is especially unique because all crafters will have a selection of book-themed goods, such as notebooks made from vintage board games, magnets and coasters featuring literary quotes, comic book collage canvases and much more.”

Many crafters will also offer Michiganthemed work, including “Mitten” ceramic ornaments and holiday cards, which Pepperdine says are very popular and likely to sell out.

Admission is free. The Grand Blanc- McFarlen Library is located at 515 Perry Road in Grand Blanc.
