Drain Commissioner to speak to WFBA

FLINT TWP. — An update on the Karegnondi Water Pipeline and the politics of water are among topics to be discussed by Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright, who will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the West Flint Business Association, from 11:30 a.m.- 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Valley Family Restaurant at Miller and Linden Roads. Township offices closed

FLINT TWP. — In observance of President’s Day, the township administration offices will be closed on February 15 and the regularly scheduled township board meeting will be moved to 7 p.m., Feb. 16. Also the township board will hold only one meeting in March due to the presidential primary election on March 8. — R.S.

Euchre tourney coming up

Gospel favorites in concert at Central Church

HCHN offering dental checkups for kids

GENESEE COUNTY — Hamilton Community Health Network (HCHN) is hosting a “Kid’s Dental Day” in observance of February as National Children’s Dental Health Month. Routine dental services will be provided for those who qualify. There will be fun activities for the children, raffle drawings, great prizes and a surprise visit from Chuck-e-Cheese.

Child checkups will be offered at three locations: Hamilton’s Main Clinic, 2900 N. Saginaw St.; Burton Clinic, G-3375 S Saginaw St., or The Dental North Clinic, 5399 N.
