United Way sponsoring free income tax service
GENESEE COUNTY — The Genesee County Tax Assistance & Financial Services Coalition kicked off its 2016 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program on February 6, offering free income tax preparation for low to moderate income families. Richfield Church to host Simulcast Event
RICHFIELD TWP. — Richfield Church of the Nazarene hosts Tragedy into Triumph, a simulcast event to provide real help and hope to people all over Genesee County that are hurting.
Richfield Church of the Nazarene is pleased to announce the nationwide simulcast of a segment of the Tragedy into Triumph Series, which will feature Taya Kyle, well known wife of Chris Kyle, on March 14. This simulcast segment will show how God can bring triumphant change into our lives, even in the midst of tragedy. This event is free to the public and is being simulcast exclusively to the church’s location at 7524 E. Mt Morris Rd, Otisville, 48463.
On Monday March 14 at 7 p.m., Taya Kyle, wife of American Sniper Chris Kyle, will share how she is overcoming the loss of her husband.
Tara Kyle is the wife of the late U.S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, and the author or New York Times bestseller, American Wife. Taya is a bold advocate for women and families and a passionate voice for faith, strength and American ideals.

Friend of the Court to offer immunity event
FLINT — Genesee County Friend of the Court and 1st District County Commissioner Bryant W. Nolden have announced a collaborative effort to host an upcoming Amnesty Event in the Flint area to assist individuals that have Friend of the Court cases.
