Lin Rountree performing at “An Evening of Jazz”

FLINT — Detroit-based jazz musician, Lin Rountree will perform during a dinner and jazz gala, at 7–11:30 p.m., April 30, at the Riverfront Banquet Center, 1 Riverfront Center West. The Whiting presents Broadway’s Next Hit Musical on May 14

FLINT — The Whiting is proud to bring you the newest show on broadway, Broadway’s Next Hit Musical on May 14 at 7 p.m. Every song is fresh. Every scene is new. Every night is different. It’s all improvised and it’s all funny. The New York Times calls Broadway’s Next H!T Musical “Hilarious!” Time Out NY says “At last! A musical of, for, and by the people.” The hysterical Broadway’s Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers gather made up, hit song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter.

The audience votes for their favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a full blown improvised musical – complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore.
