Vendors sought for church Craft Bazaar

FLINT TWP. — The scholarship committee at New Creation Church of God, 3472 Lennon Rd., will hold a Fall Craft Bazaar, September 17, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Vendors are needed (crafts, retail, arts, baked goods, and services). Tables are $20 each. Vendor packets can be picked up at the church office Monday through Friday 9-4. Rotary Club holding blood drive Aug. 18

GENESEE COUNTY — The Genesee Valley Rotary Club is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive at the United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Road in Swartz Creek, from noon to 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 18. FLINT TWP. — Calling all readers ages 4-11. Practice reading to a friendly, lovable and cuddly canine friend at the Flint Township-McCarty Library on Saturday, August 13 at 1 p.m. Certified Mid-Michigan therapy dogs will be ready to listen to stories and snuggle. Also, The Genesee District Library Board of Trustees will meet August 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Headquarters branch, 4195 Pasadena Ave. The meetings are open to the public. — R.S.
