Church euchre contest

Library events in October

FLINT TWP. — Canine behaviorist Paul Bretzke, aka The Dog Guru, will visit the Flint Township-McCarty Library on October 11 at 6:30 p.m. He will demonstrate basic commands and teach you how to solve your dog’s behavior problems. Bring your questions, but please leave your dog at home. The Friends of the Genesee Valley Center Library will hold a DVD/Book Sale on October 28 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Headquarters branch of the Genesee District Library will hold computer basics classes on Oct. 11 and 18. — R.S.

Get your Pig Roast Tickets

FLINT TWP. — The Flint Township Senior Center’s 5th annual Pig Roast is planned for noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the center, 2071 S. Graham Road.
