McLaren welcomes midwife
FLINT TOWNSHIP — Kimberly Tibai, a certified nurse midwife, has joined the medical staff at McLaren Flint. Tibai is seeing patients at Women’s Health South at the McLaren Flint Township Community Center, located at 1314 S. Linden Rd.
Tibai completed graduate midwifery training through the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. In addition, she holds a master of science in Nursing through Wayne State University in Detroit.

‘Starting Business’ training
FLINT — “Starting a Business” will be presented at the Oak Business Center in Flint via classroom presentation from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18. This workshop will also be presented via webinar from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26.
This training covers starting and operating, evaluating market potential for products/ services, costs and financing options, plus business planning. Every registered classroom attendee will receive a copy of the book, “Guide to Starting and Operating a Small Business.”
There is no fee but advance registration for each program is required.
