Senior Citizens will dance to ’50s music

Titanic Tribute Night
FLINT — The Sloan Museum will offer a Titanic Tribute Night on April 15, from 5:50-7:30 p.m. to memorialize the RMS Titanic on the 105th anniversary of the ship’s sinking. There will be educational activities, hands-on-stations, a lifeboat drill, a memorial wall and more.

A.B.A.T.E. to host motorcycle awareness party
BANCROFT — A.B.A.T.E. (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) Region 20 is hosting a Motorcycle Awareness Fundraising Party, April 1, starting at 6 p.m. This is event is to help motorcyclists be seen by raising money for a billboard on I-75. Look Twice! Save a Life!!
The party will be held at Bancroft Town Hall, 120 Warren Street, in Bancroft.
Anyone is welcome to come out for an evening of fun, music, food, pop and water balloon throwing. The fundraiser is $10 per person.

FSO Concert celebrates Black History Month
FLINT — Join Maestro Enrique Diemcke and the Flint Symphony Orchestra in celebrating Black History month as they perform pieces by Duke Ellington, Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin. This first concert of 2017 in the Classical Concert Series will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, at The Whiting, 1241 E. Kearsley St., Flint, MI.
Enjoy selections from Porgy and Bess and West Side Story, as well as Duke Ellington’s Black, Brown and Beige: Suite. These and other pieces will be highlighted by the vocals of guest artist Brandie Sutton.
