CAMS got talent

FLINT TWP. — The Carman-Ainsworth Middle School Talent Showcase will be staged at 6 p.m. on Friday March 24 in the middle-school auditorium. Acts will include a vocal and instrumental music quartet, voice solo, individual and group dancers, a piano song, spoken word and a poetry recitation. The event is sponsored by the World Language Club and Newspaper Club. — R.S.

Come out to see middle school musical

FLINT TWP. — CAMS Theater will present this year’s musical “The Trials of Alice in Wonderland” at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday March 16, and Friday March 17. It will offer great music, dancing, and a story that leaves audiences laughing and singing, featuring favorite characters like the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, Mouse, Cards, The Red Queen, and more. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Senior Citizens and children under 4 are admitted free. Fun at the senior center

FLINT TWP. — The Vesela Kapala Polka Band will strike up some lively dancing music from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 at the Flint Twp. Senior Center, 2071 S. Graham Road. Tickets are $5 each. Also, the center is planning a trip to the Flint Farmer’s Market on March 28. All month the center is featuring Mystery Bingo/Mystery Prizes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
