Installation of new coaster climber at park expected July or August

DAVISON — The Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint gave a grant of $1,232.56 to the City of Davison from the Justin M. Jury Fund, The Davison Community Fund and the Sherri E. Stephens Fund.

City Manager Andrea Schroeder said the city will use the money toward the purchase and installation of a coaster climber in the Jack Abernathy Regional Park.

“On behalf of the City of Davison, I would like to extend our gratitude to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Justin M. Jury Fund, Davison Community Fund, and the Sherri E. Stephens Fund for the grant support towards a new coaster climber,” she said. “The climber will be a nice addition for kids to enjoy while at Abernathy Regional Park.”
