SWARTZ CREEK — A full day of family-friendly festivities is coming to Swartz Creek when Jeepers Creekers returns on Saturday, Oct. 9.
The day begins with a costumed 5K fun run at 10 a.m. through downtown Swartz Creek. To register to run or to have your logo on the shirt and other merchandise, visit jeeperscreekers.com/.

The Cottage Market, featuring handmade crafts and tasty treats, will fill Holland Square from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendor information also is available on the Jeepers Creekers website above.
Already, 28 vendors have signed up to sell all sorts of homemade goods including candles, jams, bath bombs, scarves, stuffed animals, Halloween décor, jewelry, apparel, baked goods, wine glasses, tumblers, dog treats, wreaths, crocheted items, skin care, plants, art and much more.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the streets of downtown Swartz Creek will be filled with decorated vehicles and costumed kiddos enjoying the trunk-or-treat and other festivities.
Ford’s Party Rental will provide a bounce house, and the Swartz Creek Area Art Guild will provide face painting. The Shirt Traveler is sponsoring the return of balloon artist Steven Schniers.
So far, 31 people, businesses or organizations have signed up to participate in the trunk-or-treat by decorating their vehicles and handing out candy. To participate, visit the link posted above.

The evening wraps up with a Halloween-themed family movie at dusk in Holland Square, thanks to the Swartz Creek Area Firefighters, Inc.
