Jeepers Creekers to sponsor trunk-or-treat, movie on Oct. 10

2nd annual costumed pub crawl set for Oct. 24

SWARTZ CREEK — Jeepers Creekers is on!

The Jeepers Creekers planning committee will host the third annual Jeepers Creekers fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, in downtown Swartz Creek.

This year’s event will be a pared-down version of the previous festivities, but there will be plenty of family fun nonetheless.

The revelry will begin with a trunk-or-treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Any person, business, club or church can sign up to decorate a vehicle and distribute candy to the trunk-or-treaters. There will be a prize for the best decorated trunk.

To sign up, please email lrocha@mihomepaper.com.

Steven Schniers, balloon artist extraordinaire, will return.

Following the trunk-or-treat, a family-friendly, Halloween-themed movie will be shown at Holland Square.

For safety purposes, there will be one entrance for families to enter the trunk-or-treat area and volunteers will direct foot traffic so everyone is moving in the same direction. Masks and gloves are encouraged.

The committee also plans to have a costumed pub crawl again this year, on Oct. 24. Tickets for the 2nd Annual Jeepers Creekers Costume Pub Crawl are available on Eventbrite.

Planning is still underway so watch the Jeepers Creekers Facebook page at www.facebook.com/events/329359208306173 and the View for more details.
