FLINT TWP. — Carman- Ainsworth School Board candidates James Johnson and Todd Miller are projected to win seats on the Carman-Ainsworth Board of Education.
Based on Wednesday morning’s polling numbers, Johnson, an incumbent, was leading the race with 39 percent of the vote (2,439 votes). Miller, a challenger, was in second place with 36 percent of the vote (2,234 votes). Incumbent school board member Waymond Beavers was in third place with 26 percent (1,600 votes).
52 percent of the precincts were reporting at press time.
If elected, Johnson and Miller will each serve a six-year term on the Carman-Ainsworth Board of Education.
