King Par to hold annual golf benefit

FLUSHING — King Par LLC will hold the 4th annual King Par Classic for the benefit of the Flint Junior Golf Association, on June 23, at Flint Golf Club.

Now, many in the community will experience this pristine course while benefiting the worthy cause of the Flint Junior Golf Association.

This year’s event will entail an afternoon Pro/Am Handicapped Scramble, with lunch and a dinner featuring numerous Silent Auction and Live Auction items.

King Par is continuing to accept donations and corporate sponsorships, with levels ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 for major sponsorships and $300 for hole sponsorships. Major sponsors currently include Patsy Lou Williamson, Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, and King Par LLC.

The event will offer many exciting contests and awards; Men’s Longest Drive, Women’s Longest Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin will all receive great prizes. There will also be a putting contest for the chance to win $10,000, sponsored by Patsy Lou Williamson.

Patsy Lou Williamson is also offering participants the chance to win a new car should they obtain a hole in one on a selected Par 3 hole, and Rottermond Jewelers is offering participants the chance to win a Rolex should they obtain a hole in one on a selected Par 3.
